So Food is something that is harder to photograph then I thought it would be. It may look okay just sitting there, but if you don't get the angle and lighting right, the picture looks really bad. I had to play around with lighting a lot to get them to look right. I wanted to take pictures or bright colorful foods, hence the food coloring in the milk and the rainbow cupcakes. I also liked how you could see each little piece of sugar as it fell.
I really like the variety of things you tried this week in your photography - I love how you worked in action shots into food photos. I think my favorite image is the apple and orange because of the simple background and the vivid colors but I love the texture in the cupcake image and the sugar image.
ReplyDeleteI like the action shot you have of the sugar falling. The colored milk is really nice, too. I wish I had the kind of money to create those kinds of effects.
